Placement of your advertorial copy or graphic / video ad (300×250) prominently at the top of the sidebar for a particular web page. $250 per hike, $750 per city / overview landing page, $1,500 per region (Northwest, Northeast, Central, South).

Sidebar ads (300×125) displayed below existing content blocks on all pages within a grouping. A limited number of ads will be available.
- Appear on all Hike pages – $250 per month or $500 per year
- Appear on all Hiking Trails overview pages – $500 per month or $5000 per year.

Weekly Sponsorship of the Hike-A-Week
Weekly email to a select group of avid hikers, started in November 2008. This is a premium product that started as a paid subscription and is now a thank you for supporters of the website. Only one sponsorship will be allowed each week. Florida tourism destinations may request coverage of a hike in their area during their purchased week. Sponsorship includes your graphic and up to 100 words describing your services, with link to your landing page.

Weekly newsletter sent to nearly 700 opt-in subscribers. Newsletter link shared weekly to another 5,000-plus followers on Facebook and Twitter.

Not able to do your own graphic design? No problem! For a setup fee of $75 per hour, I can take care of that for you and design a banner ad to meet your needs.
Please note that I reserve the right to refuse to accept advertising based on my perception of how your product or service fits the Florida Hikes! audience. It’s important that what you offer is a good fit for outdoor recreation and an audience interested in Florida.
I do not sell sidebar links for the purpose of increasing your Google ranking. I will consider link requests based on how your content relates to ours, and paid links must be “nofollow” so as to avoid any hit on our good standing with Google.
