Today is International Literacy Day, and what better way to celebrate with a hike in a nearby state park? Florida State Parks are offering free admission through this weekend, September 13, when you bring a new or gently used family-oriented book (say, a hiking guide? hint hint) to donate at the park gate. It will be passed on to a library, school, or reading program.
