Hobe Mountain, that is … the highest point in Florida south of Lake Okeechobee, if you don’t count the mountainous landfills seen along Florida’s Turnpike. Okay, make that the highest natural landform in South Florida. And to top it off … a tower. Check out this short walk with a fabulous view at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.

Love to read your tweets and sometimes I read articles. This past week we went to Big and Little Shoul in Live Oak,Florida and we went to the Dudley Historical State Park A real working farm from the 1800. Has a great walking path.. We use scooters so it was a little rough getting around in the soft sand some times… places that say they are wheelchair friendly then we have problems.. Thank goodness we did not go alone or that being we both have scooters that we can move around just not walk great distances… But what we did see was beautiful… And away from Parks we went to Museum of Natural History and seen Butterfly Rainforest… This is so worth the price of admission.. Now looking forward to trying the one in South Florida near West Palm Beach.
