Im thinking about Hiking This Weekend Mar 1 and 2 From Bluff Hammock to Ft kissimmee campground along the florida trail. Does anyone know if this section is open?

Sorry to be late responding. I hope you managed to hike. I thought I'd post this anyway for future reference. Avon Park has a website with the forecasted opening dates. It is usually updated with the most recent info on Thursday mornings. http://www.avonparkafr.com/PRAWeekendForecast.html
