My friend and co-author Johnny Molloy doesn't do a blog, but sends out a monthly full-color PDF newsletter of where he's hiking, photos from the hikes, tips for hikers, and the like. I've thought about sending out a sporadic HTML e-newsletter on similar topics, but have wondered whether it's worth my trouble, what with the blog and all. What do you think?

I think that you have enough to do without creating a newsletter.

I do like the forum and plan to look in frequently.

Gal, Just how many ulcers do you want?! :-) Newsletters are lovely, but you're like me: always wanting to something MORE that sounds like a great idea, without MORE time in which to do it. "Just say 'no' to more work.

I keep a daily journal and this year plan on a monthly G-cast. Pick what way you want to communicate and then stick to it. Best thing is to keep it SIMPLE. Otherwise it becomes a chore and that is never a good thing.
