I don't know about base camping. I can't think of any campgrounds close by that aren't on the trail, and those are not exactly convenient to town. I wish I could offer you guys a spot here, but I don't think it would go over well with my wife. I can hold a food drop for you, though, or place a water cache, or provide you with a shuttle.
