This has been one crazy wet winter. We hikers need to be more savy and keep our wits about us. Call ahead to check local trail conditions and study the forecasts.
Interesting story. A hypothermia death and now an near drowning… Not a good year for FL hikers. Now I am suppose to hike this same section in 2 1/2 weeks….
It’s easy to get in over ones head, all it takes is for one thing to go wrong, or shoddy planning.
