Hiking Northeast Florida

Florida Trail, Rice CreekIn my explorations, I’ve found Northeast Florida to have the hikes with the biggest WOW factors. More often than not, they either follow a river or end at a scenic viewpoint over a waterway or other unique spot, and many of them provide camping with beautiful waterway views. River bluffs make for rugged hiking, and you will find switchbacks on some of these trails! North Florida also offers a surprising number of coastal hikes, including some excellent estuarine strolls and beach walks. With variety and beauty, you won’t go wrong on one of these hikes.
