Hiking the Pine Land trail, Everglades National Park
National park entrance fees are waived on June 18-19… yet another reason to celebrate Parks & Recreation Month! Get out there and enjoy an outing at Shark Valley or along the Main Park Road of Everglades National Park (and bring my new Visual Travel Tour along, if you have an iPhone or mobile device), or head out to Canaveral National Seashore and enjoy the beach, or visit Fort Pickens at Gulf Islands National Seashore. We have more national parks and monuments in Florida, of course, but those are the big-ticket ones, so get outdoors this weekend!
