It’s time to give back to the trails you love – National Public Lands Day is this Saturday, by far the largest volunteer coordination effort in America to take care of the lands we cherish.

Even if you can’t make it to a formal event, remember to take a garbage bag with you and pick up trash along the trail as you enjoy a hike as the weather seeps into autumn.
