The campgrounds at Blackwater River State Park will be closed from November 15, 2007 thru June 15, 2008 for a construction project, including the construction of new campsites and restrooms.

From I-75 exit 352 (Ocala), follow SR 40 for 8.4 miles through Ocala to Silver Springs. Turn south on SR 35, driving another 1.1 miles to the entrance to Silver Springs State Park on the left. The Sandhill Trail’s trailhead is immediately past the entrance station on the left; the other trails are accessed from the far parking area at the back of the park, near the museum.
